Who you work with
Jason Pemberton, founder
I have spent around ten years running IT for organisations where getting it wrong is expensive. PMBRTN applies the same discipline at small-firm scale.
My career has been in IT leadership: at Deloitte; at Zurich Insurance, where I was Head of Corporate Centre IT and, for a period, Head of Applications; on application engineering projects at DXC Technology; and today leading IT and security operations at a FINMA-regulated Swiss bank in Zürich.
That work has taught me two things that matter for small firms. First, technology only earns its keep when it fits how people actually work. Second, confidentiality is not a feature you add later. In a regulated bank you design for it from the start, and the same habit is what a law firm, Treuhand or brokerage needs from anyone touching its data.
Why PMBRTN
Small firms are told AI will change everything, then left to work out the tools, the risks and the setup themselves. Most do not have a tech team to do that. PMBRTN closes the gap: I find the repetitive work worth automating, build it on the tools you already pay for, and hand it over documented in plain English.
I scope every project myself and you work with me from the first call to handover. Every engagement has a fixed scope and a price agreed before work starts. See the services and pricing.
Who I work with
Firms of about 5 to 100 people, mainly in professional services: law firms, fiduciaries and accountants, insurance brokers and consultancies, in and around Zürich and remotely across Switzerland.
